Dr Purnima Sweetman is a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with over 33 years of international experience. She holds an MBBS from Nagpur University and a Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (DGO), and is a Member and Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG, FRCOG, UK). She also holds a Diploma from the Faculty of Sexual & Reproductive Health (DFSRH, UK), alongside advanced specialist training (ATSM) in Labour Ward Management and Benign Vaginal Surgery. Her clinical expertise is further supported by additional training in urogynecology and infertility, and by senior leadership roles across labour ward services, clinical audit, and paediatric and adolescent gynaecology.
